Bryant is the owner of Bankstown and Boundary Road Veterinary Hospitals.
Bryant graduated from the University of Queensland with First Class Honours in 2000 in his home town of Brisbane. He then made the big move to Sydney shortly after and has since worked in private practice for 18 years in the Southern Sydney region. Before taking ownership of our hospitals in 2013, Bryant practiced at Croydon Park Veterinary Clinic for 10 years and before that at the Caringbah / Miranda / Connels Point multi-clinic practice as well as Menai Veterinary Hospital where he started.
He has a keen interest in small animal care and soft tissue surgery.
Bryant is fluently bilingual in English and Vietnamese.
Outside of work, he is very house proud, an accomplished amateur chef and shares his home with his dog a Shiba Inu named Miso, a Burmilla cat named Mia, and 2 rainbow lorikeets named Jacob and Millie. All but Miso were either rescued or special needs patients.

Dr. Miriam Yii

Miriam graduated from the University of Sydney in 2011. She has worked in several small animal clinics in both Adelaide and Sydney, and has also spent some time working for a large animal health laboratory.
Her veterinary interests lie in diagnostic imaging and internal medicine, but she is always keen to learn and expand her experience in all fields. She has a particular soft spot for geriatric animals especially as she believes our pets often need more TLC as they get older. In her spare time, Miriam enjoys being active, yoga, amateur floristry, and going on long bush walks with her Papillon dog, Pepper, who has been known to steal the occasional dumpling from the dinner table.

Dr Samuel Aravanis

Sam always knew he would end up working with animals and enjoys caring for all creatures, great and small. He found his passion from the very beginning when studying at the University of Sydney and has never looked back. He has a specific interest in small animal internal medicine.
Sam is a dad to a 4 year old French Bulldog called Chillie, who has a passion for eating.
Aside from his veterinary career Sam has a passion for sports, specifically rugby league, supporting the Bulldogs. He also loves music and has played the piano since 6 years old in addition to singing.

Dr. Joseph Pham

Formerly one of our full-time vets Joseph now locums as a relief vet for us from time to time as he advances his university education even further.
Joseph graduated with merit from the University of Sydney in 2012. Before joining us he worked in a small animal general practice as an associate veterinarian for three years in the South West before completing an internship in small animal internal medicine and emergency and critical care at a Sydney specialist hospital.
Joseph grew up right here in Bankstown. He has keen interests in internal medicine and imaging (including radiography and ultrasonography).
While studying Joseph did volunteer work in Borneo with orangutans and sunbears at a rehabilitation centre.
Joseph also completed a veterinary symposium on sustainable wildlife utilization in Southern Africa with the University of Pretoria.
Outside of veterinary medicine, Joseph enjoys the outdoors including hiking, kayaking and fishing.
Joseph has a 9 year old small furry japanese spitz whose name is 'Archie', who is also known as 'The Beast'.

Chris Gallen
Veterinary Practice & Business Manager
Chris manages the behind-the-scenes of Bankstown and Boundary Road Veterinary Hospitals.
Chris brings with him 15 years experience in IT and IT management and is an all-rounder with small business management, accounts, HR and marketing skills.
He has had cats all his life as well as birds in recent years and this year a first puppy. His passions are tennis and travelling.
Joanna
Head Veterinary Nurse

Joanna has been working in the industry for the past 12 years and joined us in 2014 and in 2016 became our Head Nurse. She has had a love for animals since she was young, she grew up in a family of cat lovers. She has interests in all areas of Veterinary nursing and enjoys challenging cases.
Outside work Joanna enjoys travelling the world and working on her fitness including: runs, going to the gym and MMA (mixed martial arts).
Joanna shares her home with two dogs Abbey (Border Collie) Bailey (Kelpie), two cats Fozzie and Prince and a little finch named Derrick.
Hayley

Hayley is one of our veterinary nurses. She graduated from Sydney University in 2008 with a Bachelor of Animal & Veterinary Bioscience.
Hayley has a passion for travel and has done some serious miles. Her own furry family consists of 3 rabbits, Houdini, Rocky & Captain Crunch, a turtle Achilles, 3 cats Cujo, Basil & Oscar, an Eclectus, Spring Roll and her 15yr old dog Churro.
Rebecca H.

Rebecca is a certified veterinary nurse and has been working in the industry for the past 10 years and joined us in 2014. Rebecca has had a great love of all animals since she was a young child. While growing up she owned a multitude of animals, from mice and rats to guinea pigs, dogs, cats, horses and the list goes on.
Rebecca has a keen interest in all areas of Veterinary Nursing and loves new challenges.
Rebecca shares her home with her husband four children, four cats Pepe, Sox, Mya and Buzz. Dog Baxter, rainbow lorrikeet Spike, red eye green tree frog and two rats.
Sue
Veterinary Nurse

Sue is one of our veterinary nurses. She is currently the longest standing member of staff at Bankstown Veterinary Hospital having been with the clinic for over 25 years. Due to her long tenure at the hospital she has remained a most familiar face to many of our clients.
Sue has continued to work part time while raising a family of 4 kids (now grown up).
Her family pets include a shetland sheepdog named Luna, snakes (thanks to her sons!) & several birds.

Jenny is one of our puppy pre-school trainers.
Jenny has many years of experience training puppies and adult dogs, including running her own in-home behaviour assistance services. Jenny rejoins our team after working with us several years ago.

Glenn has been working with us as a weekend Animal Attendant since 2006
His love of working with animals has kept him here on weekends while he continues his studies in Software Design.
